The rewrite shows up here, with the stiff phrases it removed and a word count before and after.

How do I convert AI text to human text?

  1. Paste the text. Between 15 words and 5,000 characters. The word count updates as you type.
  2. Pick a tone. Casual, professional, or academic.
  3. Read the rewrite. Check numbers and names against your original, then copy it.
  4. Look at the cut phrases. The list shows which phrases sounded generated, so you can avoid them next time.

Then do the part no tool can do for you. Add one detail only you know: a number from your own work, a name, a thing that went wrong. Generated text is vague because the model doesn't know your situation. Two specific sentences from you will do more than any rewrite.

What makes text sound like AI wrote it?

Usually not one word. It's a pattern that repeats until a reader notices. These six show up most, and they are exactly what the converter is told to remove.

The rewrite is also capped: it may get shorter, but it is not allowed to grow more than 10% past your original. Padding is the most common tell of all, so a humanizer that makes text longer is going the wrong way.

What does a before and after look like?

We wrote a deliberately robotic paragraph and ran it through the converter on 2026-10-07 with the professional tone. This is the output as returned.

Before (87 words)

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, remote work has become a game-changer for businesses of all sizes. Moreover, it is important to note that companies leveraging remote teams can tap into a global talent pool, unlocking unprecedented levels of innovation and productivity. Furthermore, employees benefit from enhanced flexibility, improved work-life balance, and reduced commuting time — all of which contribute to higher job satisfaction. In conclusion, embracing remote work is not just a trend; it is a strategic imperative that empowers organizations to thrive in an ever-evolving marketplace.

After (52 words)

Remote work has changed how businesses of all sizes operate. Companies that hire remote teams can access a global talent pool, which helps boost innovation and productivity. Employees gain flexibility, better work-life balance, and shorter commutes, leading to higher job satisfaction. Embracing remote work is a strategic move that helps organizations succeed.

Some of the phrases it flagged and what they became:

  • In today's fast-paced digital landscape → cut
  • remote work has become a game-changer → Remote work has changed
  • Moreover, it is important to note that → cut
  • leveraging remote teams → hire remote teams
  • unlocking unprecedented levels of innovation and productivity → helps boost innovation and productivity

One thing we would still fix by hand. "Leveraging remote teams" became "hire remote teams," which is narrower. If you meant contractors or staff who already work for you, put your own word back. That's the kind of check the tool can't make, because only you know what you meant.

Will it get past AI detectors?

Maybe, maybe not, and we won't pretend otherwise. Detectors give different answers on the same paragraph, they update without notice, and they flag plenty of text people wrote themselves. Any site that guarantees a pass is selling something it can't control.

What the converter does reliably is make text read better to people: shorter, more varied, fewer stock phrases. If a teacher, an editor, or a client is the real audience, that is the part that matters. If a detector score decides something important for you, talk to the person using it instead of trying to game it.

Which tone should I pick?

Casual for social posts, newsletters, and product pages that talk to one reader. Professional for emails, reports, and LinkedIn. Academic for essays and papers: no contractions, citations left exactly as written, and no extra hedging added. If you are not sure, try professional first. It is the easiest to loosen or tighten by hand.

Rewriting a CV or cover letter? Resume bullets have their own rules (real numbers, plain verbs, nothing a recruiter can poke holes in), so a general converter is the wrong tool. Use the resume humanizer on CVPage for that.

AI to human text questions

Will the rewritten text pass an AI detector?

We don't promise that, and nobody honestly can. Detectors disagree with each other and change often, and they flag some fully human writing too. This tool makes text easier and more natural to read. Whether a detector likes it is outside our control, so don't rely on it for anything where a false flag would hurt you.

Does it change my facts or numbers?

It is told to keep every fact, number, name, date, quote, and link, and never to invent examples. It can still slip, as any language model can. Compare the numbers in the rewrite with your original before you publish. That takes thirty seconds.

What do the three tones do?

Casual uses contractions, short everyday words, and talks to the reader. Professional is plain business English with no hype. Academic drops contractions and slang, keeps your citations exactly, and is told not to add hedges like may or suggests that you didn't write.

How long can the text be?

Up to 5,000 characters, which is roughly 800 words, and at least 15 words. For a long article, rewrite it a few paragraphs at a time. You'll read each part more carefully that way too.

Can I use this for school work?

Use it on writing you are allowed to edit, and follow your school's rules on AI. It is an editing tool, not a way to hand in generated text as your own. If a course bans AI help, this counts as AI help.

How is this different from the text rewriter?

The text rewriter is a general editor for clarity and tone. This page is tuned for one job: taking text that reads like a chatbot wrote it and removing the tells. It also lists the phrases it cut and why, so you learn to spot them yourself.

Is my text saved?

Reprompt doesn't keep your text after the rewrite. It is sent to the AI service that does the rewrite, which processes it under its own policy. Don't paste passwords, private client data, or anything you can't share.
